1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information — name, email address, display name, and password when you register
- Audio files — WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, and other audio formats you upload as part of your revision workflow
- Client feedback — text comments and commenter names submitted through client review pages
- Contact preferences — your marketing consent and communication preferences
- Communications — any messages you send us via email or support channels
Payment information
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects your payment card details directly. We receive only a tokenized reference (your Stripe customer ID) and subscription status — we never see or store your full card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Information collected automatically
- Log and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, features used, and timestamps
- Access logs for shared content — when someone opens a review link or plays audio shared with them, we record the time, IP address, and browser user-agent. This data is provided to the engineer who shared the link as part of the audit trail and is used to investigate suspected unauthorized access
- Device data — device type, browser version, screen resolution, and hardware model
- Location data — city, state, and country derived from your IP address, used for security monitoring and activity feeds
- Cookies and tracking pixels — see our Cookie Policy for details
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Services — manage your account, process audio uploads, generate review links, deliver client feedback, and sync task lists
- Process payments — manage subscriptions, billing, and trial periods through Stripe
- Send notifications — email engineers when clients submit feedback and send transactional account messages
- Send marketing communications — if you have opted in, product updates and promotional offers. You can opt out at any time
- Improve the Services — analyze usage patterns to identify areas for improvement
- Measure marketing effectiveness — track campaign performance using Google Analytics
- Maintain security — monitor for fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, and unusual download patterns
- Comply with legal obligations — retain records as required by law and respond to lawful requests
Legal bases for processing (EU/UK users)
- Performance of a contract — processing necessary to provide the Services you have subscribed to
- Consent — marketing communications and AI processing (withdrawable at any time)
- Legitimate interests — security monitoring, analytics, fraud prevention, and improving the Services
- Legal obligation — retaining transaction records as required by applicable law
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Services:
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and backend infrastructure | supabase.com |
| Vercel | Website hosting and deployment | vercel.com |
| Cloudflare R2 | Audio file storage | www.cloudflare.com |
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription management | stripe.com |
| Resend | Transactional and marketing email | resend.com |
| Anthropic | AI-powered text analysis and task parsing | www.anthropic.com |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics and advertising measurement | policies.google.com |
We may also share information in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets) or when required by law.
4. Artificial Intelligence Features
Mix Revision uses Anthropic's Claude API to power text analysis and task parsing features. When you use these features, relevant text content may be sent to Anthropic for processing. We do not use AI to make automated decisions with legal or significant effects on you.
Opting out: You can opt out of AI processing in account settings. Opting out will disable AI-powered features for your account.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Services, analyze usage, and deliver advertising. See our Cookie Policy for details.
6. International Data Transfers
Mix Revision is based in the United States. All infrastructure providers are US-based. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. For EU/UK/Swiss users, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Our Data Processing Agreement is at mixre.vision/dpa.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Account data — retained until account deletion
- Audio files — retained until deleted by you or 30 days after archiving
- Activity logs — retained for 2 years; IP addresses and user-agents within those logs are automatically removed after 90 days while the access event itself is retained in anonymized form
- Financial records — retained for 7 years as required by law
- Marketing consent records — retained until withdrawn or account deleted
When you delete your account, we anonymize your account record and permanently delete all audio files, projects, songs, revisions, and tasks.
8. How We Protect Your Information
- Row-level security on all database tables — engineers can only access their own data
- Signed URLs with short expiration times for all audio file access
- Cryptographically random (UUIDv4) review tokens for client-facing links
- HTTPS enforced across all endpoints
- Private cloud storage — audio files are never publicly accessible via predictable URLs
- Input validation and sanitization on all user-submitted content
- Detailed access logs for all shared audio content, available to the engineer who shared the link
Despite these measures, no electronic transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@mixre.vision.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@mixre.vision.
